How To Improve the Performance of Android Tablet.

The below mentioned steps have been deduced after a lot of research and will surely help you with the speed issue.

1. Remove icons and widgets that are not required

Everything on the screen of the tablet is stored in its memory, even if it is lying unused presently. Thus, the commands you enter are processed slowly due to large amount of stored data. To get rid of this, delete apps and widgets from the home screen of your tablet if they are no longer required or required infrequently. Instead, those could be accessed from the application menu of the OS.

2. Remove applications not required

Any application that you download consumes some part of your memory space. Thus, it is wise to uninstall the applications not used by you. This will free used up memory space in storage and result in the fast speed of your tablet.

3. Close applications not required

Tablets slow down because of numerous running applications in the background. After having used an application, it is better to exit from it to provide more memory to your tablet to support the running of other applications.

4. Free up some space

Your tablet can read and write faster in its memory when there is more free space in its internal storage. You should better remove an application if you are not using it regularly and keep the ones without which your work gets hampered.

5. Avoid downloading heavy applications

Applications vary according to their size. Before you download any file take care to look at its size and if it is too heavy make sure that it won’t affect the speed of your tablet. Otherwise, it is  better not to download it.

6. Don’t use live wallpapers

Although these wallpapers are good looking and amusing, they can impact the speed of your tablet, putting a burden on the battery. It is better to use normal wallpapers.

7. Turn off Maps

As soon as you open your tablet, the map application will be activated particularly when you are connected to the internet most of the time. If GPS is installed on your tablet, that is even worse. This will consume life of your battery as well as reduce the speed of your tablet. Thus, it is recommended to turn off map applications.

8.  Stop Animations

Similar to wallpapers, animations also look great but reduce the speed of your tablet. You will really observe improvement in performance after deactivating animations in the settings.

9. Update your apps

Always remember to update your apps as developers are coming up with newer editions of app that consume less memory and at the same time give fast performance.
